I obtained my BA from the Università di Napoli 'L'Orientale' in 2005 (final dissertation: Buena Vista Social Club: the media phenomenon of the XX century). I then moved to Bologna, where I obtained my MA at the University of Bologna in 2008 (final thesis: Multimodality and City Branding: 'Glasgow: Scotland with style). After two job experiences in Scotland and Rome, I started my PhD on the topic of language and gender in the Italian parliament. I was awarded the PhD in 2014.
