My academic history
I earned my BA from the Università di Napoli “L’Orientale” in 2005, with a final dissertation on Buena Vista Social Club: The Media Phenomenon of the 20th Century. I then moved to Bologna, where I completed my MA at the University of Bologna in 2008. My thesis, Multimodality and City Branding: Glasgow—Scotland with Style, explored the intersections of urban identity and visual communication.
After professional experiences in Scotland and Rome, I began a PhD on language and gender in the Italian parliament, which I completed in 2014.
